UECK Passes $300,000 at the Box Office
9/26/2026
Our Bob Uecker documentary UECK has now passed $300,000 at the box office, including grosses reported through Comscore and additional independent theater engagements and special screenings. For a film we’ve been releasing largely through grassroots efforts, it’s a milestone we’re particularly proud of.
What began with 17 Marcus Theatres in July has grown into a Wisconsin statewide theatrical tour, with screenings at independent cinemas, historic movie houses and community venues throughout the state.
Among the highlights have been packed screenings at Milwaukee’s Oriental Theatre, the historic Ringling Theatre in Baraboo, and The Bend in West Bend, where the film played to enthusiastic crowds over four nights.
The release has been a collaborative effort involving Marcus Theatres, the Milwaukee Brewers, Molson Coors, local theater owners, community organizations and plenty of friends of Bob. With a relatively modest marketing budget, the response has been especially gratifying.
The reviews have been encouraging, too. Critics have called the film “a rollicking tribute to the late Bob Uecker,” “a warm, funny, perfectly pitched film,” and “a warm, frequently hilarious, and heartfelt appreciation” of Bob’s extraordinary career.
And we’re not quite done yet.
